Welcome the Peltolas this Saturday

Lassi and Abida

We welcome Lassi and Abida who have a ministry based in deliverance and inner healing.  Where ever the Lord went he ministered healing and deliverance.  The same needs abound all around us today.  I believe this will be a God appointment to release God's will for the future. This could be a turning point for many. Please join us for the 3:00 PM service on Saturday 20th of May and for continuing ministry on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM

His Presence Church once again has the honour of hosting Bob Griffin, Saturday 9th April, 3pm at our premises at 2 Placid Court, Narangba.

A bit about Bob:
Bob has been called as a Prophet of the Lord and has been sent to many regions, such as North and South America, Eastern and Western Europe and the continents of Africa and Australia.
Bob also walks in the office of an Apostle and a governmental Prophet as he counsels with church and world leaders all across the world. Bob and Jayne have been sent to regions to establish and set apart those who are called into the ministry. Bob has established ministries all around the world as he has prayed for people to step into their destiny!!
If you've been in one of Bob’s meetings, you know that he loves to worship and to speak ‘destiny’ into the lives of children and young adults. Ministering with the same mercy that he was given when he was delivered from years of drug abuse, Bob’s heart reaches for the lost and hurting. His sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is tangible – Jesus loves to hangout with him because obedience is better than sacrifice!

Angels in our midst

"Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"
-Hebrews 1:14

According to Psalm 91 God reserves the deepest angelic interventions for those believers who live their lives in the deepest places of God.  Christianity that seeks casual acquaintance with Him, turning up as a matter of convenience rather than living by resolute commitment, easily giving in to six reasons and yea seven weaknesses to abstain from turning up today instead of pressing in and seeking God diligently as the bible exhorts us to do, is equal to a recipe for mediocre return.  If you want God’s best, you need to give him your best.

The psalm expounds promises of supernatural protection but only if you choose Him to be your refuge and fortress, only if by intimacy you are so close to Him as to be under his shadow in a place of spiritual proximity where you will automatically come under the cover of his wings.  That is the secret place, the hidden and covered place, the privileged place. In that place you cannot be intimidated by fear, immobilised by terror, struck down by pestilence or impoverished by darkness. Calamity and destruction may fall all around you but no evil shall befall you neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.

Condition and promise. Condition and promise. Condition and promise! He has already instructed the angels giving them charge over you to protect you throughout your life’s journey, aiding and abetting the goodness of God towards you, to help you when you are strong and when you are weak sometimes saving you even from yourself.  He will empower you and give you the authority to walk over all the power of the enemy. If you set your love upon your heavenly Father he will deliver you and set you upon high places of protection because of your intimacy with Him. When you call He will answer and bring you out of trouble and into places of honour.  He will bless you with a long and fulfilling life bringing you into all the experience of salvation, oh thou promised heir.

From the Pastor’s desk

The bible records historically that there came a time during the life of Haggai the prophet when God purposed to rebuild His temple.

And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the Lord of hosts, their God
— Haggai 1:14

I pray and trust that it is by the Spirit of God that we have been moved to re-establish a work of His hands.  May God put His Spirit upon us to walk in that which He has ordained.

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts: 5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
— Haggai 2:4-5

God’s very first blessing upon humankind was a decree to be fruitful and multiply. May God impart life to us by His very ruach breath decreeing strength for us to function in our call without fear. I invite you to consider in the preceding verses the possibility that this was not just an exhortation but rather a decree of God to be strong and to work and to be fearless.  At this time and in this season I pray that God would decree such life over us and the church as we launch into this next leg of our journey.  Please join us on Saturday as we meet in His Presence.

IT IS TIME

I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.
— Ecclesiastes 9:11(NKJV)

Greetings and blessings to you all. We have embarked.

For the past six Saturdays we have continued to prepare the building in readiness for meetings and so we begin. A sincere thanks to those who have helped along the way. Work to prepare our meeting place will continue indefinitely.  There is still cleaning, painting, repairs,  yard works, furniture and technical set up to perform and any generosity or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
We stand at the threshold waiting on God and greatly look forward  to seeing you all.
Please see details below for momentum meetings.

Please join us at the new location on Wednesday the 12th of August at 7:00 PM for the first meeting.  Please note that any meetings for the time being will be styled as momentum meetings to get church and family back on foot. Our formal inaugural and launch meeting will be in the future and after all necessary preparation but we so look forward to seeing you in these early days.
Keep an eye on your email for notices of other meetings

I wish to extend my deep gratitude to all those who have continued to carry the church in prayer.
God’s richest blessing to you all from pastor James and Vickianne

From the Pastor's Desk...

Greetings and blessings to you all.  We are about to embark on the next and new leg of our journey in God as a church.  Our success will lay not in our own strength or ability but in God’s call and purpose. We look forward to meeting with you all at the new premises which come to us as a stepping stone to greater things.  I trust we will embrace this as a family and together take ownership of what lies ahead.

Postponed Services

Our Sunday services remain in abeyance as we prepare for new life, a new door, a new house and new opportunity. May the ruach breath of God bring new life, new purpose and new commission. He is alive and we remain in His Presence.

I wish to extend my deep gratitude to all those who have continued to carry the church in prayer. A very special commendation to Paul and Sharon who have maintained home group and my thanks to all who have attended. God’s richest blessing to you all from pastor James and Vickianne

From the Pastor’s desk…….

A Christmas thought.

Isaiah 9:6(NKJV) 6unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; the government will be upon His shoulder. His name will be called , Counselor, Mighty God, Father, Prince of Peace. Christmas remains a season where the world in general honors the person, memory, history and birth of Christ. It is a time where we give with fervor. None of this is misplaced even if it is generally misunderstood. However we who know Him also know that we live because He lives and we can give because he gives. All that we have in our lives that is good comes because of the gift of Christ —good culture, good governance, good environment and every good memory. This year as we give let us remember His gift to us and prepare to receive the gift of everything new in the coming year.

James 1:17(NKJV) 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Sunday Services and bank details for tithes

As mentioned in both services last Sunday (16th November), there will be no further Sunday services at our current location of Unit 1, 503 Gympie Road, Strathpine. So please do not go expecting a church service next Sunday!

Prayer meetings will continue in the current location for the moment, but will change to a new location in the future.

For those wishing to pay their tithes please do so via the website.

Thank you all for your prayer, support and patience during this time.

Working bee thanks, Home group and prayer meeting details

Thank you so much to every one who came and helped at Saturday's working bee. Lots of items were moved, and we now have a really good idea of the quantity of our possessions and have already begun to consider what should happen to them. We have now begun the process of 'moving out and into the next thing!' and we greatly and deeply appreciate all who came to support the start of this process.

Home groups will be continuing throughout this season. They are held as follows: Every Monday, 6:30pm at Paul’s home; 1 Station St, Petrie. Wednesday 19th November & 3rd December, 7pm at Rene’s; 9 Petiole Place, Bald Hills. Thursday 4th December, 11am at Sue Morgan’s home; 8 Kurumba St, Kippa-Ring. Remember to bring your testimonies, bring your worship and bring yourself!

Prayer meetings will continue at the current for the building for the moment. Every Wednesday at 7:30pm.

Thank you all again for your support of the process of 'moving on'.

Shalom
